Accidentally scratched a car…and there were no dents. This guy demanded to have his bumper replaced for a scratch that was only 5-10cm long! WTH! Anyway, he kept changing the price. At first was $430 then hrs later was $380, when i demanded him to go to my workshop. Now he wants to use insurance claims and is claiming over $800! I’m really finding ways to bust this guy’s joke of an extortion. Daylight robbery, i tell u. This world is full of mistrust because of such people.

Got to admit that I was too bz the past few mths. Had no idea what was required of me by my profession. Nor was i aware of the stress, headaches and heartburns that came along with it. Nonetheless, 6 mths have passed since the new yr and i can still dare say I’m still sane and quite happy.

2009 is indeed a bz yr…with plan after plan on getting something done in my life. Well, it’s eventful i must say.

To the next 6 mths…cheers!

Fave pix…check. Its in my FB. Well, 2009 is proving to be a difficult yr so far. Kinda predicting tat I’m not gonna have as much time to my own self. Bz doing all sorts of things BUT resting.

As it is, 2009 has not started on the right footing for some. I wont mention who, but this person ought to take a step backwards and reflect on his own self. Dun preach what you dun practice. Downright hypocritical, till turning against pple u call ur frenz even seemed alright for u. I’m just frustrated that U could cause all sorts of chaos from something stupid, for all those close to u. Mind boggling! I wished…mark my tense, to help but not anymore since there’s no ounce of remorse from u…

Had went to JB yesterday to attend my uncle’s wake. It was one of the very few Chinese wakes i’ve been to..my Ah-Ma’s, Ah-Kong’s and my uncle’s. Anyway, he was my mum’s 2nd brother…

Was kinda out of place cos u nvr know if anything u did would be inappropriate in such events so i mainly kept to myself most of the time. Had many of my Chinese cousins coming up to talk to me but kinda felt uncomfortable cos we only meet during festives or at wakes or only when i’m in M’sia visiting family and they only speak to me in BM. But at least, yesterday, i felt like the family re-bonded. My eldest uncle(Ta-shu) was always tearing when he talked about my late grandparents, the story of my mum being raised elsewhere and so on. It definitely helped me understand my maternal side of the family much better now.

Anyway, picked up some stuff about Taoist funerals. I guess they are also the ones having the paper offerings, which they burn, for the passed ones. My uncle got a car (with a chauffeur), a house, etc. Nvr did it cross my mind that these wakes and funerals cost a bomb. Only found out that my late grandparents’ had cost over 100k (RM)!! Btw, they were buried next to each other. So i guess booking the burial plots doesnt come free. My uncle’s going to be cremated, it’d cost over 20k (RM). Still alot of $$…

So, yesterday was a day out with my sis. Cant believe that i’ve watched ‘Twilight’ twice even before its official release date in sg. But someone had to accompany my sis so there i was….not that i minded.

We then headed to Laines Papeterie and there she was, with me alongside, browsing through the stuff and then started picking out some. Little by little, we added into the basket and voila. The bill was almost 600 bucks…

The trend of scrapbooking has suddenly descended upon me. It doesnt help having a sister totally into it and probably making a business out of it. Honestly, i dun have a clue to start with except that i like most of the end products. Kinda thinking this scrapbook thingy really brings in the moolah. I just might have an idea….

Going for the pre-marital course was itself an experience i won’t forget. The fact that there was a fine line btwn Eng & Malay, it was conducted in a fair mix of the 2, was amusing as it was supposed to be mono-lingual. The speaker was fine…joked alot but what i didnt get was his qns. His ‘open-ended qns….mmm. Poor B’s fren. This dude (farhan?) ranted on & on trying to ans the qns but ended up making a fool of himself. Anyway, i think the course doesnt just prepares you…it ‘scares’ you and kinda make u THINK. There I was, after an entire day in the mosque, being serious and deep in thought. I just had to have fun afterwards….and glad i had. Thank god that my frens(Fanz & Jip) were also with us.

So, went for a movie afterwards with B, Fanz & Jip and i totally fell for this song in it, Flightless Bird… Can’t stop playing it over and over in my head. Now, i feel good…

Wedding bells….

December is one of the most if not the most bz month to get hitched. Been bz helping friends’ wedding/engagement preps that i too have been caught up in this whole notion of being in marital bliss.

One of my dearest friend got married over the wkend and i’m really happy for her and her hubby. Next wk, another. The week after, another.

Anyway, congratulations Jan & Faisal! Hope you’ll have a blissful life together. Ok, will upload the pix from their wedding when i have them…
